The most advanced Japanese art of making exceptionally sharp and robust swords,  Panasonic has applied state-of-the-art technology to develop blades of  outstandingly high quality.

Inspired by Katana’s of the Samurai from the ancient land of Japan, the Panasonic Lamdash 5 blades Linear Motor shaver is equipped with 5 blades, a powerful linear motor, beard sensing technology and a 30-degree sharp inner blade.

With the 5-blade system, you get a close shave in a shorter time.

The Quick Lift-Foil was developed to prevent the frequent problem of missing whiskers when shaving a curly beard. It lifts flat-lying hairs that conventional shavers can not pick up. Now you can enjoy a clean shave on your neck and under your chin where stubborn whiskers were often missed.

The result of ultra-fine processing technology, the finishing foil blade is just 41μm thick. Combining this with a 60μm thick blade enables an extremely gentle, close shave. The thinner 41μm blade cuts near the base of hairs while the thicker 60μm blade protects your skin from the inner blade

The comb blade is designed to capture long whiskers that other blades miss, the slit construction lets you cut them to just the right length.

The linear motor Panasonic shaver has especially developed for shavers ensures there is no loss of power and no whiskers are missed, even when shaving heavy beards. A rapid linear motor drive delivers a smooth, clean shave at 14,000 cycles per minute.

The sensor determines differences in beard density at different locations, and power is controlled to provide powerful cutting where your beard is heavy and soft cutting where it is thin. This reduces the burden on your skin for optimum shaving results.

The cutting edge of the inner blades is an acute 30°to enable them to cut the hair at its base for an incredibly close shave. Honed with nano level precision to be as sharp as possible, the blades are driven by a high-speed linear motor to maximize their cutting ability. As a result, they cut smoothly through the toughest beards.
